Odor-Free Glass Jars

Although they look clean, but the old glass jar that are not used are often smell musty. This is the tip to remove the smell of it, burn a piece of paper and enter immediately into glass jars. Cover tightly so no air intake. After the fire is out and the smoke, ash waste paper and wash with soap and water as usual. Musty odor in the jar will be lost immediately.

For routine cleaning, remove the old jar lid and then wash with warm soapy water to clean the former pastry fat. Drain and wipe it with a dry cloth.

Special note to wash the jar lids if there is reinforcing rubber; remove the old rubber, new washing lid. Wipe it dry completely with the dry cloth.

Especially for the lid, it is preferably with a paper or plastic wrap to prevent rust easily (for iron).
