Dress Up Your Windows with Pinch Pleated Shears

If the windows in your home are not very attractive because you have plain, straight drapes hanging in them, consider switching to pinch pleated shears. These drapes are also called French pleated or three-fold pleats and they are very traditional in nature.

Pinch pleated shears can be used with practically any type of interior décor and this type of drapery can be used with decorative hardware or rings to really add some style to a window. They also can be used with a standard, traversing rod which is nice if you have that type inside your home. A pair of pinch pleated shears looks especially stunning when a pair of matching sheer curtains are used behind them.

Even if you have blinds in your windows you can still hang pinch pleated shears by simply adding the panels to the outsides of the windows for a great look and the perfect finishing touch. If you do have blinds installed, you do not necessarily have to add a pair of sheer curtains behind the drapes as the blinds will do a nice job of balancing the look. Of all of the different varieties of drapes and curtains there are out there, pinch pleated shears provide a room with the most beauty and refinement.
